OUR DIAMONDS

Diamonds are valued according to the famous “4 Cs”: Cut, Clarity, Color, Carat. The combination of these properties, together with other aspects that are less evident but just as important, determines the rarity of a diamond and consequently, its worth. In order to be priced in the international market, diamonds must be accompanied by a certificate issued by an internationally recognised gemological institute of analysis. Diamond certificates are fundamental and necessary in the eventual resale of diamonds on the market in the future. The stones are selected by means of quality criteria of the highest excellence; they may be sealed in blisters, with a laser identification inscription on the girdle. They are all certified by one of the following internationally accredited institutes:

GIA – Gemological Institute of America
HRD – Diamond High Council of Antwerp

All Diamond Company diamonds are traded in accordance with the relevant U.N. resolutions geared towards stemming the flow of diamonds from countries involved in conflict, terrorism or the exploitation of children. The ethical nature of the stones is certified through the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
